In reality, growth in leadership is a process of
self development. As an individual is promoted to a leadership position they
generally have an excellent grasp on job responsibility, skill and knowledge to
effectively carry out work assignments within their own region of
responsibility. Whether or not they will be successful as a leader is another
thing. This will be determined by the way they deal with, build relations,
communicate, organise, support and guide all employees they are responsible for.
The self development training modules are designed to create a confident, well
balanced leadership style. 12 training modules, together with self evaluation
forms are provided. One module should be completed weekly. Modules cover:
Character Building; Communication & Self Awareness; Motivation; Stress; Goal
Setting; Problem Solving; Decision Making; Getting Agreement; People Relations;
Dealing with Conflict; Self Control; Negotiation. |
